In this interactive session, you’ll learn about best practices for digital accessibility, strategies for fostering a sense of belonging in your Canvas course, and approaches to transparently structure your course in Canvas. This session is ideal if you feel comfortable navigating Canvas (e.g., creating assignments, using the rich content editor) and want to enhance or redesign your Canvas course to integrate course design principles of accessibility, transparency, and sense of belonging.

You will you’ll engage in hands-on activities to apply these practices and skills directly to your course design. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have started transforming your Canvas course, a clear plan to complete it, and practical tools grounded in course design principles to help you successfully implement your design. This session is ideal if you have little or no experience navigating Canvas (e.g., creating assignments, using the rich content editor).
